"Orange and Yellow"- Mark Rothko
This is a series I've been working on using fake acrylic nails. I took well-known works of art and painted them on the nails using acrylic paint and then sealing them with clear nail polish. I then mounted them on a piece of white wood and placed gold frames around them to give it a museum feel. I had my first solo show with these works and I hope to get my dream show at the MFAH with them! *I apologize for the quality of the picture/glare. It's the best I could do with camera I have* |
